Talking about the packaging, Fringe Fashion have seriously nice, neat and lovely packaging ever!

Here are the swatches of the eye-shadows/ eye-dust that Fringe Fashion gave it to us.

It includes two eye-shadow, seven eye dust, one kohl eyeliner , three lip gloss and a dress. First row, from left to right – Cafe Au Lait, Sunlit Cactus, Peek A Boo, Rouge Flambe. Second row, from left to right – Baby Blues, Majestic Green, Blue Moon, Complex, Glow.

So allow us to show you the make up tutorial by using Jesse Girl Cosmetics from Fringe Fashion!

For a natural spring look, try this :

1. Prime your eyelid and also the face where you think it’s appropriate. We have our lens on too.

2. Use as a first layer of eye-dust, Cafe Au Lait on all over your lid.

3. Pick up eye-dust, Peek A boo apply on the outer half of your lid.

4. Bring along Peek A boo to your lower lash line

5. To help make the eyes”pop”, apply Sunlit Cactus on your dinner corner of your eye.

6. We call this invisible eyeliner, which is a thin lining of the inner part of your eyelid with Kohl Formula Eyeliner.

7. Apply your ideal mascara and blusher. Finish up with the Pink Lemonade Lip gloss.

And you are done! The natural yet full of spring inspired look is perfect for any occasion.

Here with another option of more dramatic look.

1. Prime your eyelid and also the face where you think it’s appropriate

2. Apply Glow Eyeshadow on all over your lid and brow bone as a highlight

3. Place Complex Eyeshadow on the outer half of your lid.

4. Build up more red colour with the Rouge Flambe Eye dust.

5. Create a thinker liner on your Upper and half way of the bottom waterline with Kohl Formula Eyeliner.

6. Apply your favorite mascara and blusher. We mixing Formula 13 Wild berry & Pink Lemonade Lipgloss to complete the look.Wala! You are all ready to head out!

If we really need to choose the Top 3 must have. It would be the Eye Dust, it was so pretty & highly pigmented!

By using just a little bit of it, the colour is truly amazing. Second would be Kohl Formula Eyeliner that came together with a sharpener, suitable for heavy traveler. But bare in mind it will smudge a little bit. Third would be the Formula 13 lipgloss – Wild berry. Smell so yummy and kissable lip.

Aside from that, Fringe Fashion also gave us a dress – MALTESE.

With a little cape style and split on the shoulder side, it actually flaunt your arms perfectly and without being too much.

Also, we love the side pocket on it as it carry a little design on the dress as well.

Speaking about the center line of the dress, don’t underestimate it.

The detail of the dress is like mandarin collar and also stitches design which pretty much low cut compare to others.

So yeah, it will definitely flaunt your cleavage as well, but with a hint of elegance ;D

All in one, Jesse Girl Cosmetics are perfectly good! We rate it 8/10 for the quality and believe us, Jesse Girl Cosmetics are able to compete with MAC.                I received samples for Jessies Girl cosmetics which consists of a lip gloss called Pink Lemonade. It is soft pink colour with a subtle sheen on your lips. Very natural and has a lovely scent.

                It wasn’t too sticky like certain glosses where your hair keeps on getting stuck to your lips on a windy day due to the gloss. Pink Lemonade also comes in a handy tube which you can slip in anywhere from your jeans pocket to your itsy bitsy dinner bag for a quick touch up.

             Next, there were eyeshadow pigments. I received a variety of colours and I found that you can even mix it with clear gloss to get a gloss shade of your own preference! Cool right? Anyway, back to the eyes, if you use these pigments without eyeshadow primer, obviously like most pigments the colour doesn’t stand out very well but it can till be seen.

                However, with a primer or at least an eyeshadow base like a cream shadow to boost the colour up a little bit, the pigments produce very pretty colours. Most of them have duochrome effects and they’re all pretty shimmery but not to the extent where you look like you’re coated in glitter. Subtle yet beautiful. I would definitely purchase more pigments!

I was stalking online blogshops one fine day when I saw Fringe Fashion is giving free samples of Jessie’s Girl makeup products. After owning a Jessie’s Girl nail polish and extremely pleased with it, I took this opportunity to know more about this brand by signing up the sample review.

The free samples arrived after a week and I was wow-ed by the colors! I was also thrilled to receive RM5 voucher from Fringe Fashion, they’re so nice My first instinct was to reach out the lip gloss as I’m more a lippie girl than eye girl. Applied on the spot and was impressed by it. Since I had my lipstick on and it was already mid-day, I decided to do a better swatch on weekends.

So on to the swatches!

First up, lips:

I was given a very nice shade – Pink Lemonade. It comes in a very handy size, packed full to the brim but not overflowing and has a slanted tip for easy application. I tested the packaging by putting it into my jeans’ pocket and in the car whenever I head out (4 days), it didn’t melt nor broke. The plastic packaging is thick and sturdy! Plus point!

When applied, it has a hint of pink lemonade smell and taste. Fruity, but not artificial. The smell and taste will dissipate and gone after a short while so don’t be too concerned about this. The lip gloss is slightly sticky but not gooey enough to crumple your lip lines or making it hard to apply. After you have put it on, it instantly shines with high gloss, like water splashed onto your lips. Nice! I have pigmented lips so Pink Lemonade may not be the right shade for me, however it’s highly usable for layering.

Now the next question will be whether it’s long-lasting. Yes it is. Tried and tested by drinking from can, bottle, with straw, eating laksa, mee goreng, steamboat… the gloss may be gone but it leaves a comfortable subtle sheen with faint pinkish shade. Not only that, my lips felt moisturized for hours. No peeling, no chapping and not even dry. Right shade or not, this is definitely a keeper. I really like it!

Verdict:

• Will I buy again – Yes, probably a few more shades!

Now we go on to Pure Pigment Eye Dusts:

As mentioned, I’m not really into eye makeup. I used to, but nowadays am lazy to glam up my eyes. I know the basics is to put the lightest shade on the whole of eye area, a darker shade to create deep-set effect and the last shade on the eye lids. Perhaps this is an outdated/conservative method.. Or is it the other way round?? I’ve not been reading much on eye makeup for many years!

Anyways, when I saw the samples given to me, though liking the colors but was intimidated by them as well. These are rich, shimmery pigments in glorious shades. My own collection of eye shadows are mainly solid colors (that show how outdated i am in this area) I wasn’t sure if I would look nice given that my skills are not noteworthy. But I also told myself that this is an opportunity for me to TRY. I swatched the colors on my arms first; Sunlit Cactus is a bit too light in the photos but you could see its magic when applied on my eyes.

On Saturday, while preparing to go out I decided to put 3 colors on. I chose Majestic Green, Sunlit Cactus and Cafe au Lait to complement my outfit. I put Sunlit Cactus all over my eye area and under my eyes. Then I put Cafe au Lait above my eye lids for deep-set effect and lastly I place Majestic Green on my eye lids. I added and lessen these 3 shades to blend in here and there. I did’t apply thick as I prefer it to be subtle. The results were wow-zers for me! I LIKE IT!

Sunlit Cactus really lit up my eyes, it shines and brightens; I was glad I applied some under my eyes Cafe au Lait is simply awesome by bringing out the other 2 shades. Majestic Green gives a light lovely green glow and these 3 really work well together!

My FOTD with these 3 pigments and Pink Lemonade lip gloss (applied on bare lips)

After 2 days, I was getting ready to meet my friends for a night out. So I made use of this chance by using the last 3 shades: Baby Blues, Blue Moon and Peek-A-Boo.

Special mention to Peek-A-Boo; it’s a rich magenta that almost seems multichrome with gold, purple and blue shimmers. I find it special and exotic!

I used Baby Blues on entire eye area but found that it didn’t look too good so I dust off a bit and applied Cafe au Lait to blend in. Then I used Blue Moon on top of eye lids and Peek-A-Boo on the eye lids. It was a bit too rich on me so I dust off a tad and used Cafe au Lait to blend here and there (i’m really not good in eye makeup). The results are shown in the photos; might be too light for some of you but I prefer it this way

My FOTD with these pigments and Pink Lemonade applied on top of Isbrow lip taint

Does it last? Yes again – It lasted for more than 8 hours! No creases no fading. I even accidentally rubbed my eyelids but the makeup stayed!

Verdict:

• Will I buy again – Yup! Even though my focus is more on lips and nail polish, these 6 pigments made me want to try again and again and again. Mixing & blending to create color effects are fun!
• My favourite – Cafe au Lait; it’s a staple to blend and create effects, Sunlit Cactus; for the wonder glow, Peek-A-Boo; fantastic multichrome.

“I just received my free samples and I love it.

I’m more of a lip gloss person so the first thing I did was try on the lip gloss.
I was surprised at first by how delicious the lip gloss tasted. It didn’t taste like normal lip cosmetics.
I also liked how it did not feel sticky against my lips.
I also tried the baby blues eye dust and was extremely happy with the results.
I had fun turning my head in all sort of directions to see the different shades of the eye dust.
Usually I don’t wear eye make up but when I tried the eye dust in, I felt like now I have an excuse to dress up.
I’ll definately be buying more of Jesse’s Girl products.
I’m waiting for my current lip gloss to finish so I can buy the flavored lip gloss in ALL FLAVOURS and the formula 13 lip gloss“.

Hello!I am back and I will first start with a Jesse’s Girl cosmetics review!Just for your information that these products were sent to me by Fringe Fashion because I requested to try it out and review it for her so she sent some free samples for me.

Let’s start with the lip gloss!The flavour is called Pink Lemonade and it definitely smelled like one!

The applicator.

Without the lip gloss.

With the gloss.As you can see,its a simple sheer gloss and it is not sticky at all.It glides on my lips smoothly but I am not sure if it is long lasting cause I have not tried that yet.

Next is the eyeshadow pigments!
This one is called Baby Blues.I just applied it straight on my lids without any primer cause I don’t have one and I used my fingers.

The color is quite pigmented and it has silver and blue glitters so it has a duochrome effect which my camera failed to capture!One of my favourite colors!

Next is called Peek-a-boo.

As you can see,it is pretty much a shimmery pink color with a tiny hint of purple.

Blue Moon.

I love this color!it is a very pigmented blue eyeshadow and it really looks good on brown eyes!

Sunlit Cactus.

Another favourite of mine!It is so PRETTY!It has the duochrome effect too,it changes from brown to green!The area below my eyebrow is red because I was scratching it cause it was itchy.So it it not eyeshadow.

Next is Majestic Green.

This is not as pigmented compared to the rest of the colors and I don’t know why but I feel that when people with brown eyes wear green eyesahow,their eyes will look like a tree.Same thing that goes for clothing too.

Lastly,Cafe Au Lait.

Another nice color which has the right amount of pigmentation.Very natural looking could be the a nice color to use to create brown smokey eyes.Its a shimmery brown color.

Overall,I rate Jesse’s Girl Lip Gloss in Pink Lemonade a 7/10 and Jesse’s Girl eyeshadow pigments a 8/10!I recommend girl’s who are just starting to explore and experiment on make-up and with a budget to try out Jesse Girl’s cosmetic cause its affordable!The Pure Pigment Eye Dusts only costs RM15.90 but now Fringe Fashion is having a promotion on her site and it only costs RM12.90!That’s a pretty good deal if you ask me so get it while it is still on promotion.

..the colour is a bit darker than the 1st one. We love this one, not too light yet not too striking. Just nice and sweet!

Taraaa! Nice? The golden dust gave the natural base look. Add on the blue and pink eye dust and make yourself beautiful with it!
